♥ When smoke gets in my nose
the 7th month is here again. hence the title.
anyway, as you will already know, uni life has started for me. and contrary to popular belief, it is not really a big turning point in my life. i wasnt even looking forward to it after like 8 mths of slacking away [which i obviously enjoy]. in fact i find myself dreading going to sch every day cos of the super looooooooong Journey to the West. :/ that's 3 hrs of my life wasted each day, mind you.
and since sch started 3 weeks ago, i've gotten sick more times than i ever did in my lovely long 8 mths of holiday. dont know if it's the 7th month smoke or the viruses in NTU or the psychological effect of not wanting to go to sch EVER.
so, the JC tutors were bluffing when they said that JC was the toughest period in the education system. YEAH RIGHT. at least in JC, you can slack for abt 1 yr until the promos where you mug like siao just to get promoted to J2. and the readings that Wendy always gave could always be put off until the exams. but in uni? everyday is like mugging madness ok. every module has a reading and you have to actually read the readings if not you wont know what's going on. actually i read the readings and the textbook also but i still dont know what's going on, so. and the tutors are not so kind as to go through every single thing they went through during lecture again. actually JC is quite relaxed leh.
tutorial, cmi. lecture, cmi. textbook, cmi.
OMGGGGGGG.
i know if some ppl read this they'd be cursing me like, "at least you have a uni to go to! i cant even go anywhere!"
yeah, well the grass is always greener on the other side.
and and, at least you can bond with the same class for 2 yrs ok. like, what's the point of knowing these ppl if you're most probably not gonna see them again in the next sem? [other than the ppl i got to know in PFOC lah]
so, in a nutshell, am i grateful that at least i've got a uni to go to where i can get a degree? yes. do i have to go? yes. but if i had a choice, would i want to?
no.
